Alison Self

Here is my first post!
I spent a day with the amazing local Richmond musician Alison Self.
She lives at in a house/community library named "The Flying Brick"
I followed her the day of the Richmond Zine Festival, where she was facilitating a workshop on sexual consent with the help of the "Can I Kiss You Collective".
I also followed her to a "Food Not Bombs" house show she was preforming at with some of her friends.
I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story...

The intention of this blog is to bring people out of their daily lives because it is easy for us to get caught up in our monotonous routines. My goal is to document a variety of lifestyles through photography; to introduce the viewer to lifestyles that differ from their own.
